The TPM chip is a secure crypto processor designed to perform cryptographic operations. How to Check If You Have TPM

The easiest way to check is to run the get-tpm command via windows powershell.

Do this, type windows powershell in the windows search bar menu. then right click and select run as administrator. if a confirmation window pops up, click Yes.

Next type get-tpm in windows power shell and if your computer or laptop has TPM you should see the result like this:

If TpmPresent is False, unfortunately your laptop or motherboard does not have a TPM chip.

How to Check TPM Version

Microsoft has finally announced that users need TPM 2.0 to run Windows 11. To check the TPM version it's quite easy, follow the steps below to check it.

Open Windows Run by pressing the Windows Logo key + R, then type tpm.msc. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Management window should open.

Right under TPM Manufacturer Information you should be able to see the specification version and see what version is running on your laptop and computer.
